About
We don’t need another expert. We need an experience.
I primarily serve women who are ministry and church leaders, married to church/ministry leaders, are enrolled in ministry school, and/or consider themselves leaders and visionaries that feel stuck, burnt out, disillusioned, unsupported, fearful, or “can’t get past _____.” As someone passionate about healthy church culture and congregational support, I also enjoy partnering with churches and their deliverance ministries to offer post-deliverance care and trauma work.
Therapeutic Models that Inform my Work
I practice Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), which proposes that we each are composed of many unique inner parts of self. As the Trinity is three in one and we are made in His image, so we too are one while also containing multiple parts: body, soul, and spirit. I am passionate about helping my clients identify their wounded and protective parts to compassionately unburden those parts stuck in unhealthy roles.
I also offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy for the reprocessing and healing of traumatic memories, phobias, chronic pain/illness, and anxiety-related disorders. This model helps to “retrain the brain” and offers us a different physical and emotional relationship with the trauma or pain in our lives. (Trained by Susan Reed, LCSW-S)
I am trained to offer the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), which uses specially filtered music, delivered through headphones, to gently exercise the neural pathways involved in how we hear and process the human voice. By emphasizing the frequencies of human speech, the SSP is designed to send the nervous system cues of safety—helping it shift out of chronic states of defense (such as hypervigilance, anxiety, or shutdown) and toward a more regulated, settled, and socially engaged state.
I engage components of Somatic Experiencing in my work as well, supporting and integrating the nervous system into trauma work. This model proposes that our bodies often store and seek to resolve the trauma we’ve experienced. By using this model, I’ve witnessed clients grow in their ability to navigate and feel difficult emotions, sleep better, connect with their families and loved ones more effectively, and enjoy a reduced sense of stress or anxiety.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the vehicle for healing and transformation! I don’t offer traditional “talk-therapy,” but enjoy providing corrective experiences where we talk to what’s occurring in your internal world with Father God, not just about it. Therapy is a safe “laboratory” to practice new patterns that transcend the therapy room.

Once you have scheduled a session (feel free to use the Book a Session page), you will receive an emailed link to a client portal containing intake paperwork covering policies and procedures, as well as assessments for you to complete. This paperwork is to be filled and submitted at least 24 hours prior to the first session so I have time to pray over your information and prepare for our meeting.
Therapy is not a “one-size-fits all” approach, especially with the involvement of Holy Spirit. I enjoy collaborating with clients to help identify roots of their pain points and redemptive ways to move forward. Therapy can occasionally feel worse before it feels better as we uncover these roots and heal them in curiosity and relationship. Therapy is an investment in yourself, your family, and the Kingdom.
