Facilitating healing experiences for women walking the Narrow Way.

Lydia Vinar, LPC

Therapy with me is an experience: not merely talking about pain and trauma, but transforming your relationship with it.

This process is an encounter with God’s authentic heart for you and a corrective relationship in which to establish trust, risk vulnerability, honor your story, and heal in connection.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor, working with women towards wholeheartedness and a life of freedom. I desire to collaborate with my clients from a place of genuine connection with each other and the Holy Spirit as we heal wounds and “stuck“ places, uncover your truest self in Jesus, and release the effects of trauma in your entire being.

What makes this different?

You don’t have to choose between your brain and your spirit- in fact, you were created to be fully united: spirit, soul, and body.

I do therapy a little differently. I facilitate encounters between you and Jesus, resulting in lasting change that enables you to follow Him wholeheartedly and enjoy your life.

Wholeness comes when you own and integrate every part of you: body, soul, and spirit. We don’t need another program, “expert,” or formula. We need an encounter with the Living God. Transformation that occurs in connection with Him supplies lasting change. I consider myself a facilitator of that experience.

Body, Soul & Spirit

Our human experience is multi-dimensional. We contain every version of ourselves we’ve ever been, whether we’ve experienced healing in those places or not. We carry our memories and beliefs with us until they are healed and released. Because of this, I don’t offer traditional “talk-therapy,” but enjoy providing “bottom-up” therapy (addressing our lived experiences, not just our thoughts.

EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Safe & Sound Protocol (SSP), somatic work, and deliverance tools like SOZO are the models I use to do this. Therapy is a safe “laboratory” to practice new patterns that transcend the therapy room.

“I want to empower women to be the initiators and experts on their own healing journey in partnership with Holy Spirit.”
